Wireless Network Upgrade and Enhancement

Scope of Services The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to outline the specific tasks and deliverables required for the upgrade and enhancement of the wireless network infrastructure at El Camino College (ECC). This project aims to improve the connectivity, reliability, and overall performance of the wireless network, thereby supporting ECC’s commitment to providing a technologically advanced and conducive learning environment for its students and employees. The SOW seeks to engage potential contractors with the necessary expertise and experience in implementing the Aruba Wireless network solution. The contractors are expected to assist ECC with the planning, implementation, configuration, and validation of the new network infrastructure. This includes the migration to new Aruba 9240 Mobility Controllers, configuration/installation of Access Points, Aruba ClearPass configuration and the implementation of the Aruba Airwave Management Platform (AMP).

CIP 22-20 and CIP 22-21 RESIDENTIAL STREETS PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT, AREA 5 AND 7

Scope of Services The work to be performed under this Contract generally consists of pavement rehabilitation on 277 street segments in Area 5 and 7 of the City of Downey. This project includes the application of cape seal and type II slurry seal over ARAM, reconstruction of failed pavement areas, cold milling of asphalt pavement, construction of asphalt concrete leveling course, base course, and asphalt rubber hot mix (ARHM) overlay. Work also includes removal and reconstruction of uplifted, damaged, or substandard curb, gutter, cross gutters and spandrels, sidewalk, driveway approach, and curb ramps; adjustments of manhole and utility valve covers to the new grade, replacement of traffic striping, pavement markings, and loop detectors; traffic control and all appurtenant work thereto necessary for the proper construction of the contemplated improvements.

ALLEYS NORTH OF FOSTER ROAD PAVEMENT REHABILITATION

Scope of Services The work to be performed under this Contract generally consists of pavement rehabilitation on five Alleys North of Foster Rd, between Woodruff Road and Lakewood Boulevard, as shown on the Plan. This project consists of the removal of the existing asphalt pavement and base or subgrade materials, and construction of asphalt concrete (AC) base course and AC overlay. Work also includes the reconstruction of Portland cement concrete (PCC) alley intersections, installation of PCC curb ramp, installation of PCC v-gutters, repair of damaged PCC curb, gutter, and other concrete improvements, adjustments of manhole and utility valve covers to the new grade, traffic control and all appurtenant work.

TROPICAL STORM HILARY – SOIL REMOVAL FOR OFELIA BRINGAS BRIDGE GRADE CONTROL STRUCTURE AND DATE PALM BRIDGE CHANNEL LINING

Scope of Work consists of furnishing all supervision and labor, materials, necessary equipment, tools, traffic control, and public services coordination required to effectively complete the removal and disposal of soil deposited by the Tropical Storm Hilary event on August 20, 2023, from the Ofelia Bringas Bridge grade control structure and Date Palm Bridge channel lining. Both the Ofelia Bringas Bridge grade control structure and the Date Palm Bridge channel lining are located in the Whitewater River channel and are to be returned to their as-built elevations. All work and resulting facilities will fully conform to the current adopted Coachella Valley State Implementation Plan (CVSIP) for PM-10 including Best Management Practices during the construction process.

PUBLIC WORKS YARD FENCE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

SCOPE OF WORK: The scope of work consists of furnishing all supervision and labor, materials, necessary equipment and tools, utility work, traffic control and public services coordination required for the completion of the Project. The proposed improvements include the removal, disposal, and salvaging of the existing chain link perimeter fence, and installation of new perimeter anti-climb fencing. All work and resulting facilities will fully conform to the currently adopted Coachella Valley State Implementation Plan (CVSIP) for PM-10 including Best Management Practices during the construction process. The location for the scope of work is the Cathedral City Public Works Yard located at 68385 Kieley Road in Cathedral City, California.
