Recharge Basins: Two new groups of recharge basins (A and B) (a total of 20 basins) will be constructed to provide additional recharge capacity for the project. Channel Extension: Approximately 7,000 feet of the new earthen rip-rap lined channel to convey water to the proposed new recharge basins. Access roads.

Construction of the DICKASON DRIVE WATER LINE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT. The project is located along Dickason Drive from Smyth Drive to Decoro Drive. The project generally consists of the installation of a water line and appurtenances. The work includes, but is not limited to mobilization, trenching, shoring, installation of a waterline and appurtenances; abandonment of an existing water line; traffic control; and all associated work (“Work”) as indicated in the Contract Documents.

Notice is hereby given that WALNUT VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT has elected to participate in the
California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA). Public projects, as defined by this Act
and in accordance with the limits listed in Section 22032 of the Public Contract code, will be contracted by informal
procedures as set forth in Sections 22032-22045 of the Public Contract Code. All licensed contractors are invited
to submit the name of their firm to the District for inclusion in the District’s list of qualified bidders for Calendar
Year 2023.
