Life Academy & United for Success Academy Security Improvement

The Scope of work to include but not limited to Installation, replacement, and repair of surveillance cameras at Life Academy and United for Success Academy. Installation includes approximately 32 new single sensor cameras, 3 new multi-sensor cameras, 21 cameras replacements, and 7 cameras adjustments. All cameras shall be programmed and integrated into Milestone XProtect software. The successful bidder shall have at least 5 years K12 experience, Milestone certification prior to bid opening, and in-house networking staff. OUSD will provide servers if required, as well as Milestone licenses. Typical camera unit to be installed shall be Hanwha Wisenet QNV-8080R. This is a design build project and will require as-builts upon completion.

Construction of new two-story, non-separated mixed-use occupancy, II-A construction of approximately 75,745 SF classroom building, equipped throughout with automatic sprinkler protection and fire detection and alarm system. The building consists of classroom, laboratory, and administrative offices. Site work including hardscape and landscape, underground utility infrastructure, and storm drain system. New arcade construction that connects to the existing Arcade Structure and ends at the north and south sides of the new building.

Lead Inspection, Testing, Clearance, and Consulting Services

The Contractor shall furnish labor, materials, and equipment to inspect, test, consult, and provide clearance of the presence of lead-based paint, including lead-contaminated dust and soil, from the interior and/or exterior of housing (private single-family owner-occupied homes, tenant occupied units, and public or private multi-family residences) scheduled for rehabilitation and funded with various federal programs, within the City, as designated by HCDD staff, on an as needed basis, in accordance with the specifications outlined below.

Annual Backflow Assembly Testing and Certification

The City of Fresno annually tests all backflow devices connected to the City’s water distribution system. While the number of backflow prevention devices varies slightly from year to year, there are currently 1700 devices that are 2 inches in diameter or less than 100 devices that are greater than 2 inches and less than 6 inches in diameter Contractor must maintain a minimum Backflow Technician Certification recognized by the American Water Works Association or the American Backflow Prevention Association.

Marin County Civic Center Air Handling Unit #3 Fan Array Retrofit

The project entails removal of the existing fan in AHU #3 and replacement with a new fan array. The fan array will be sized with N+1 redundancy so that if any single fan module were to fail, the remaining fans in the array could satisfy the full airflow for the system. Remove and replace additional items as noted in the plans and specifications, including, but not limited to controls, electrical and plumbing elements, and asbestos abatement where noted.
