This Project entails upgrades to the secondary treatment process at the Regional Water Quality Control Plant (RWQCP) that are intended to increase treatment capacity, produce treated effluent with reduced total nitrogen (TN) content, replace obsolete equipment and rehabilitate aging structural infrastructure.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: NEW ARVIN EDUCATION CENTER
The Project will consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to install the landscaping replacement planting and irrigation system and perform a 3‐year Plant Establishment Period (PEP) for landscape and irrigation maintenance along along Mathilda Avenue, including US-101 and Mathilda Avenue interchange on- and off-ramp areas, from Almanor Avenue to Moffett Park Drive in Santa Clara County, City of Sunnyvale (Location 1) and along the northbound interstate 280 (I-280) exit ramp to Foothill Expressway in Santa Clara County
The Work includes: BART’s Operation Control Center (OCC) is past its useful life and needs renewal and upgrades to facilitate two of BART’s key projects: Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) and BART Silicon Valley Phase II (BSVII). The Modernized Operations Control Center (MOCC) project goal is to provide a modernized OCC for the next 10 years. The upgrades include CBTC-specific infrastructure for Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) training, testing, and lab, and a new console.

The work consists of furnishing all necessary materials, labor, tools & equipment for the installation of landscape improvements including plant material, irrigation system, decomposed granite paths, lighting, shade structure, greenhouse, raised planter beds, water quality enhancement features, and other improvements as noted on the project plans and described in this document including all other required equipment labor and materials to complete the work.
The District is accepting proposals for supplying the main service, motor control center, transformer, and load centers.
