WORK DESCRIPTION: The project will convert North La Palma Parkway, from a two-way street, into a one-way tree-lined, pedestrian and bicycle friendly green corridor. Improvements on Swan Street include new shade trees, drought-tolerant plantings, rain gardens, and converting the Swan parking lot into an appealing and environmentally friendly “green parking lot.” The project will not only enhance the pedestrian / vehicular / user experience in and around La Palma Park, but will also improve access to recreation, promote environmental stewardship, and improve pedestrian safety and connectivity throughout the area.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) is responsible for planning, designing, building, and operating the first high-speed rail system in the nation. The California high-speed rail system will connect the mega-regions of the State of California (State), contribute to economic development and a cleaner environment, create jobs, and preserve agricultural, and protected lands. When it is completed, trains capable of speeds exceeding 200 miles per hour will run from San Francisco to the Los Angeles basin.

SCOPE OF WORK. The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Replacement of existing Air Handler Unit 8 (AHU) located on the roof of the Merle Norman Pavilion at Santa Monica Medical Center. The scope of work includes connection of existing AHU 7 and AHU 6A to areas serviced by AHU 8, demolition of AHU 8, provision of HVAC controls, variable frequency drives, ductwork, piping, valves, anchoring, and hoisting equipment; testing and balancing; and repairs to building and roof finished impacted by the work. Work shall also include connecting existing AHU 6A to areas services by existing AHU 4 and demolition and removal of AHU 4.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Contractor shall remove and replace the roof of Young Hall building as specified in the plans and specs. New roof to be a single-ply membrane installation under existing mechanical equipment. The estimated construction cost is $1,145,700.

SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of Water Resources (DWR), Generator, Transformer, and Cable Rental service on an as-needed basis as described herein. The services will be performed at: Cordelia Pumping Plant 235 Mangels Boulevard Fairfield, California 94534

Services may include, Temporary Roof Repair, including the installation of roof tarps where and when appropriate · Roofing Replacement, including any infrastructure improvements (framing, substrate, etc.) necessary for a safe and legal installation, Gutter repair or replacement, Downspout repair or replacement, Roofing removal Roofing materials, and types may include “flat” (low-slope) roofs of various materials (hot or cold-applied built-up roofs, single-ply membrane roofs, etc.), metal roofing, and composition shingles. These services are critical to ensuring that the residents residing in properties owned or managed by the Housing Authorities remain decent, safe, and sanitary.

SCOPE OF SERVICES In accordance with the circumstances described above, the County seeks Proposers licensed in the state of California to provide all services including but not limited to complete architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services and such other services as may be 3 necessary in the design and construction of the project, within the budgeted limits set by the County and in compliance with all applicable standards, laws, rules, and regulations.

The Improvements consists installing storm drain pipelines within the Gateway of the Americas Specific Plan area to improve drainage in the vicinity of Maggio Road and Rood Road. The storm drain will convey storm water currently discharging into a small retention area at Maggio Road and Rood Road intersection and route to two separate locations. One location is further east along the future Zinetta Road to an existing manhole discharge location and the second location is further south along Los Alamos Road to connect to an existing pipeline north of Carr Road.
