General project work description: To screen and sort stockpiled material at the MPS disposal site into specified gradation piles.

The County of Santa Barbara seeks a contractor to install trash capture devices, referred to as Connector Pipe Screens (CPS). Contractor shall provide and install CPS within the catch basins of the publically-owned storm drain system, at locations identified in the specifications.

This project includes 23STM1-3J52 REFUGIO RD DEBRIS REMOVAL AND EMERGENCY PROTECTIVE MEASURES IN THE 3RD SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT.

In general, the project will consist of the grading of the site including the construction of a shoring wall adjacent to the neighboring properties, and the construction of a 4-story, 5-level parking structure with supports for photovoltaic cells on the top level. In addition to NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE TO BIDDERS iii the parking structure of the project will include site preparation for the future SLOREP theatre and general improvements to the surrounding public right of way, including landscaping, lighting, and street and sidewalk construction.

In general, the project involves the removal of damaged concrete revetment and replacement with a soil nail wall. Slope grading along the opposite bank will also occur. Creek diversion will be required. The project estimated construction cost is $1,500,000

In general, the project involves the installation of curb ramps along Augusta Street. The project estimated construction cost and contract time established for the project are as follows: TOTAL PROJECT BID (BASE BID + ADD ALT. “A”) $650,000

Routine and Emergency troubleshooting: Provide the City with tiered technical support as follow Immediate telephone support, is available on a 24/7 basis. During business hours, the City will call project personnel directly. For support after working hours, provide a single telephone number for a person or an answering service who can contact the appropriate Consultant personnel for a call back within one hour. Consultant shall begin remote troubleshooting within two hours of receipt of notification by the City. Escalation to on-site support if deemed necessary to resolve the problem. Consultant shall be on site within 24 hours of receipt of notification that on-site support is necessary.

The scope of work for this project consists of furnishing and installing six (6) vaults, two (2) pad mounted switch enclosure (PSE) and slab boxes, approximately 6,604 linear feet of 2-inch conduit, 148 linear feet of 4-inch conduit, 25,228 linear feet of 5-inch conduit, approximately 4,111 trench feet of conduit, removing and replacing concrete, asphalt paving and core drilling a vault structure.

The work to be done, in general, shall include furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals, unless otherwise specified, to construct the waterline complete in place in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. The project involves the construction of a potable waterline and appurtenances consisting of approximately, 3,300 linear feet of 54-inch Mortar Lined and Coated Steel Pipe, and 600 linear feet of 12-inch and 8-inch Ductile Iron Pipe, as awarded by the City under Bid Schedule “A”.

The Services sought under this RFP are set forth in more detail in Exhibit “A,” attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Notwithstanding the inclusion of such Services in Exhibit “A” the final scope of Services negotiated between the City and the successful Proposer shall be set forth in the Landscape Maintenance Services Agreement (“Agreement”) executed by and between City and the successful Proposer. A copy of the Agreement is attached hereto as Exhibit “B” and incorporated herein by this reference.
