The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan or MWD) is soliciting bids to manufacture 26 Manhole covers and locking device assembly for a Capital Investment Project (CIP). in accordance with the specifications,drawings and terms and conditions contained in this Request for Bid [RFB].

The work consists of cold milling approximately 30,090 square feet of existing asphalt concrete pavement, disposal of the cold-milled pavement, replacing with a new 2-inch asphalt concrete overlay, cool seal on top of the asphalt concrete, and performing other appurtenant work as specified and shown on the contract drawings

The work to be performed or executed under these plans and specifications consists of and includes utility trenching and restoration, installing a 4’ and 6” storm drain lines to convey localized groundwater to a nearby LACFCD storm drain, installation of a specific BMP treatment structure, and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary for the proper construction of the contemplated improvements, as indicated on the attached project plans. The project has obtained an LA County permit and the contractor will apply for a rider to complete the project.

The work to be performed or executed under these plans and specifications consists of and includes removal of existing sidewalk and curb & gutter and the construction of new PCC curb ramps with curb & gutter and a minimum 2’ HMA plug; and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary for the proper construction of the contemplated improvements, as indicated on the project plans for Area 3 Residential Neighborhood ADA Curb Ramp Project.

Services will be provided for and administered through the Information Systems Department. Diamond Bar Center Camera Physical Installation (Please Review Appendix A and Appendix B) Remove 42 existing end-of-life Cisco Cameras and replace them with new Verkada Cameras Install and mount 42 new Verkada security cameras and associated domes and assemblies. (Please see the parts list itemized on the PlanetBids posting under the Line Items Tab) For internal cameras installed on the hard lid, it is requested that the vendor provide “Beauty Rings” or “Trim rings” to cover the difference in size between the existing cameras and the replacement cameras if the replacement cameras are smaller.

SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and utility and transportation services, and perform and complete all work required in connection with HVAC Repair Districtwide Bid 22-23-123 (“Project”) in strict accordance with the Contract Documents enumerated in Article 7 below. The Contractor shall be liable to the District for any damages arising as a result of a failure to comply with that obligation, and the Contractor shall not be excused with respect to any failure to so comply by an act or omission of the Architect, Engineer, Inspector, Division of the State Architect (DSA),
