Scope of Work – The scope of the Grossmont College Perimeter Road Repair Phase II will include a pavement condition assessment of the condition of Grossmont College Drive that was prepared in 2020 and determined that a large portion of the road was in poor condition. These remaining areas will require removal and replacement of the asphalt paving along with added speed bumps, signage, and road gate repairs.

Harbor Boulevard at Arbolita Drive Intersection Safety Improvements

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work comprises the furnishing of all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents for the above stated project. The general items of work to be performed hereunder at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Arbolita Drive in the City of La Habra and shall consist of but not be limited to Mobilization, Water Pollution Control, BMPs, Traffic Control, Safety, and Cleanup, Construction Staking and Monument Perpetuation, PCC Curb and Gutter Reconstruction, Sidewalk Removal and Replacement, Roadway Excavation, Curb Ramps, Signing and Striping, and Pedestrian Push Button Relocation which includes all incidental work so indicated on the plans, specifications and tables, and required for the proposed improvements.

Maintenance Services for City of Placentia Parks and Ballfields

SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor is to provide the City with an annual maintenance schedule to include all scheduled maintenance and field closures. Maintenance at Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) joint use facility fields will be done on a strict preapproved schedule and plan as to minimize the impact on school activities and programs. Work shall be performed Monday – Friday, and in emergency situations after hours and on Saturdays and Sundays. The initial week schedule and any change must be approved by the Deputy Director of Community Services or Designee prior to implementation. All ball field work missed due to inclement weather or ground conditions from such weather shall be rescheduled and completed the following day. Rescheduled work at PYLUSD joint use facility fields will be done in accordance to the preapproved schedule and plan. The contractor will prep ballfields for inclement weather in advance when possible, and work on ballfields afterwards to expedite acceptable playing conditions.

Scope of Work The City seeks a consultant to provide construction consultant services as part of implementing CalHome and CDBG-funded residential rehabilitation assistance programs. Services, the requirements include: Awarded consultant(s) will conduct inspections of single-family homes to evaluate needed rehabilitation work, focusing particularly on code deficiencies and energy efficiencies, in accordance with City Building and Safety Code. City staff will initiate the inspection request and the awarded consultant shall coordinate inspection appointments with property owners within five days of request. Following an inspection, the awarded consultant(s) will prepare a rehabilitation work write-up based on the needed repairs. The work write-up shall contain a line for each item needed, with a complete description of the work, and shall include the cost for materials, labor, permits, contractor profit and overhead.

Scope of Work This request for proposal (RFP) is intended to contract a professional Civil/Traffic Engineering design firm with extensive survey services capabilities to design this project. It will include the design for the construction of three (3) roundabouts, five (5) traffic circles, one (1) vehicle diverter, 1.6 miles of Class III bike route with sharrows, 0.3 miles of Class II bike lanes, custom wayfinding signage, and a non-infrastructure education program. The non-infrastructure education program is outside the scope of this work. The design effort will include the creation of a completed bid package of signed Mylar plans, specifications and construction estimate (PS&E) based on plan takeoffs, in addition to the submission of the Caltrans construction RFA package.
