Architectural Design Services – Fire Station 47 HVAC Replacement Project

Scope of Services The City of Norco is requesting proposals from qualified professional firms with proven experience to conduct Architecture Design Services and provide a PS&E Package for a replacement HVAC System at Norco Fire Station 47 – 3902 Hillside Avenue, Norco, CA 92860. Fire Station 47 was built in 2004 and is 16,600 square feet. The building is in daily operational use and the existing HVAC system is 20 years old. The Fire Station is a wood-framed building that incorporates an administrative section along with an Emergency Operation Center. Related to the design proposal, proposers should include the cost of ducting air balancing as part of the design costs to ensure quality in design. Plans shall be stamped by a State of California Licensed Architect along with a State of California Registered Professional Engineer.

Pedestrian Undercrossing at Malibu Seafood

Scope of Work The project features constructing a new pedestrian undercrossing connecting Corral Beach to the Sara Wan trailhead. The undercrossing will include providing adequate width, head clearance, ADA accessibility, and lighting to improve pedestrian visibility and safety. The design of these improvements will include an evaluation of existing conditions, an environmental analysis, an analysis of at least 3 different design alternatives, development of project performance metrics, and site-specific information for design. The scope also includes permitting, including obtaining a Local Coastal Development Permit, and a Caltrans encroachment permit. Preparation for and conducting public meetings as needed.
