The City of Oakland (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified architectural and engineering service providers for the master plan, design, and construction (pending funding) for the expansion and renovation of the Brookdale Park Recreation Center (BPRC). The architect-led consultant team shall include but is not limited to the structural engineer, civil engineer, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) engineers, surveyor, landscape architects, cost estimators, commissioning agents, geotechnical engineer, Bay Friendly rater and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.

Proposals from professional civil, structural, traffic engineering, geotechnical/soils engineering and materials testing, land surveying, and landscape design firms are being solicited for the preparation of Plans, Specifications and Cost Estimate (PS&E) for soundwall construction to provide effective freeway traffic noise reduction for sensitive receivers along Interstate 210 freeway (I-210 FWY) in the City of Glendale from the west side of the Lowell Avenue overcrossing to the Pennsylvania Avenue overcrossing per the recommendation of the noise study conducted by Caltrans and the Project Study Report-Project Report (PSR-PR).

The work consists, in general, of the construction of the new 48 Acre Park in the City of Hayward. The Project includes large-scale earthworks, installing two keyways, a new storm drainage system, a joint trench, utilities, an irrigation system, an accessible path network and paving, prefabricated restrooms, installing play equipment, picnic areas, and landscaping, and performing other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, and as specified in the Standard Specifications or these Special Provisions.
