Tanner Clearwell Replacement (TAN 1A.3)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION The existing Tanner Water Treatment Plant (WTP) does not have sufficient reliable storage capacity to meet the needs of the existing customers and commitments, nor can the WTP reliably meet the permitted WTP capacity of approximately 6 MGD with the existing treatment plant or storage facility. The sole existing storage facility, besides having no redundancy or backup, has numerous deficiencies, as discussed in the above referenced studies. The Tanner Clearwell Replacement Project (TAN 1A.3), as described in the Capacity Study, proposes to install a 3.0 million gallon potable water storage tank per AWA & State requirements, standards and recommendations.

SCOPE OF SERVICES The selected engineering firm’s primary responsibilities shall be to design the Project, including obtaining permits, developing public works contract documents, performing land and soil surveys, preparing plans and specifications, preparing bid documents, bid phase assistance, submittal review and engineering support during construction. Pavement Rehabilitation Program – Citywide, Pechanga Parkway and Butterfield Stage Road

Scope of Services The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required by the Contract Documents to construct for the above-stated project. The general items of work include Roadway rehabilitation of Pechanga Parkway from Temecula Parkway to approximately 400 feet South of Via Gilberto, Butterfield Stage Road from Temecula Creek Bridge to Southern City Limits and the grind and overlay of the south parking lot at Patricia H. Birdsall Park. Work will generally consist of full width cold milling of existing asphalt, some localized dig outs, preparation of grade, placement of Rubberized Asphalt Concrete Pavement, crack seal, and slurry seal. Work also includes removal and replacement of ADA access ramps, spandrel, adjustment of existing utilities to grade, installation and removal of temporary video detection, restoration of existing striping, and detector loops. Fire and Intrusion Alarm Monitoring, Maintenance and Repair

Scope of Services The purpose of this contract is to provide Fire and Intrusion Alarm Monitoring, Maintenance and Repair. It will be assumed that the proposer has investigated and is satisfied as to the conditions to be encountered, as to the character, quality and quantities of work to be performed and materials to be furnished, and as to the requirements of the specifications, the special provisions and the contract. The proposer shall be certified to work on all panels listed for the City of Temecula (see attached list of addresses/panels). The scope of services contained in Exhibit A will be referenced and incorporated to the awarded contract for services.

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT The project, in general, will consist of the examination, analysis, and review of plans for various construction projects within the city in order to determine compliance with all applicable regulations, including but not limited to local building regulations and amendments, as well as the California Building Standards Code (CAC Title 24), comprised of the latest adopted editions of the model codes with State amendments, andtheStateHousing Law (CACTitle25)asadoptedbytheStateofCalifornia and the city of SanLuisObispo, the California Public Safety Code (CAC Title 19), City Municipal Code regulations and adopted City Engineer/Public Works standards. Qualifications for Amendments to the Margarita Area Specific Plan

SCOPE OF WORK Prepare amendments and an update to the Margarita Area Specific Plan (MASP) by completing the following tasks: Review and recommend which parcels to rezone within the MASP to increase density on existing residentially zoned land. For example, changing currently zoned land from R-2 to R-3 or R-4. Explore and consider opportunities to support the development of Missing Middle Housing design types. Review and evaluate rezoning the Business Park (BP) zoned parcels to Service Commercial (C-S) zoning opportunities and propose findings and criteria to allow mixed-use development consistent with the updated Airport Land Use Plan (ALUP). Conduct a resource analysis of available water, sewer capacity, emergency services, etc. for proposed increased residential density and changes in land uses / zoning.
