Engineering Services for Fine Screen Replacement

SCOPE OF WORK The purpose of this project is to perform a condition assessment of the Grit Chamber and Fine Screen structure and prepare design documents for bidding construction of a re-placement Fine Screen with ancillary equipment. The proposed improvements and task items include: Review all relevant data, records, computer files, reports, as-built plans, photos, maintenance records, and staff interviews. Complete a field walk with District staff to review the limits of the project and document existing treatment process operating conditions. Recommend repairs to the structure.

Scope of Services The City of Needles invites qualified consultants to submit proposals to provide professional consulting services for the development of a solar photovoltaic feasibility study. This Request for Proposals is being issued to allow the City of Needles to evaluate options and determine the project and financial costs that best meet the interest of the City. Pioneer Park Playground and Fitness Area Equipment Installation

SCOPE OF WORK All tasks identified below as part of this proposal are to be completed by the selected Contractor. Demo and remove existing playground equipment and PCC footing. Excavate and remove +/- 5035 sf of existing pour-in-place (pip) surface to a depth of 3.5”. Excavate and remove +/- 805 sf of existing material for fitness area to a depth of 7.5” and relocate any irrigation as required. Remove +/- 3,650 sf of existing PCC sidewalk around existing playground and proposed fitness area and replace per city std. Dwg. 614 (see attachment). Width of sidewalk shall be a minimum of 4’ with various widths.

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY: Bidders are required to attend a pre-bid meeting and the associated project site(s) walk thru for comprehensive project scope delineation. Failure to attend this pre-bid meeting and its associated project site walk(s) will disqualify bidders from participating in bidding on this project. Under no circumstances will the District be responsible for contractor’s late arrival at the pre-bid meeting and the associated project site walk locations. The sign-in sheet must be signed at the beginning of the pre-bid meeting and at each of the project site walk locations. All participants will be required to leave a business card with their CSLB# an DIR# on it. If the DIR# is not imprinted, please provide on the sign in sheet.
