Scope of Work. In compliance with all terms and conditions of this Agreement, the Contractor shall provide those services specified in the “Scope of Work” attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by this reference, which may be referred to herein as the “services” or “work” hereunder. As a material inducement to the Town entering into this Agreement, Contractor represents and warrants that it has the qualifications, experience, and facilities necessary to properly perform the work required under this Agreement in a thorough, competent, and professional manner, and is experienced in performing the work and services contemplated herein. Contractor shall at all times faithfully, competently and to the best of its ability, experience and talent, perform all services described herein.

SCOPE OF WORK The Scope of Work will vary as the need arises and will be at discretion of the Town. A consultant will be required to provide Traffic Engineering services for various projects at the request of Town staff. In general, the request for services consists of but is not limited to: Prepare a Transportation Impact Study guidelines. Conduct reviews of traffic engineering, traffic analysis and transportation planning studies or project specific traffic related tasks analysis; Provide analyses of existing and projected traffic conditions; roundabout analysis; intersection design; traffic calming and traffic data collection; Provide traffic control device studies and design (signs, pavement markings, signals, and school zone flashers); Perform pedestrian and bicycle studies including those for Safe Routes to School; Review subdivision or new development projects involving traffic impact analysis, roadway improvements, and traffic signal modifications.

Scope of Work The scope of our services consisted of the following: Field exploration and in-situ testing of the site soils at selected locations and depths. Laboratory testing for physical and/or chemical properties of selected samples. Review of the available literature and publications pertaining to local geology, faulting, and seismicity. Engineering analysis and evaluation of the data collected. Preparation of this report presenting our findings and professional opinions regarding the geotechnical aspects of project design and construction.

SCOPE OF WORK: The Town of Yucca Valley seeks a qualified consultant to prepare CEQA documentation for the proposed project. This Scope of Work includes all tasks necessary to prepare the required CEQA documentation and support the project through the approval process. The consultant shall comply with all insurance requirements of the Town of Yucca Valley, included in the sample Professional Services Agreement in Appendix A.
