SCOPE OF WORK Demolition, removal, and site preparation shall include, but is not limited to the demolition of the structures, including walls and footing, floor slabs, and foundations, and grading as identified on the Plans. Utilities – Before starting demolition of any building where utility connections exist, the Contractor shall verify with the Utility Company that all such utility connections have been disconnected. However, this shall not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility of complying with all code regulations or general practices as required by the City or Utility Company or District having jurisdiction over such utility. The contractor shall prevent any foreign material from entering sewer laterals to be abandoned and shall employ suitable devices to prevent any material entering the sewer.
