This project will include but is not limited to the installation of door controllers, numeric keypads, fob access pads, and the design and installation of a software control system that administers the fobs, fob sensors, door controllers, and access codes used by City staff. The City of Los Alamitos currently employs a “Keri Doors 32” access control system, used for managing and monitoring access to buildings, offices, and secure areas. The facility locations include: City Hall 1 City Hall 2 Community Center Council Chamber Police Department Limited paths of travel within these vicinities Current State: The access control system is located in the server room 19 doors currently set up with readers System uses Windows Server .

SCOPE OF WORK: Demolition, removal, and site preparation shall include, but is not limited to the demolition of the structures, including walls and footing, floor slabs, and foundations, and grading as identified on the Plans. Utilities – Before starting demolition of any building where utility connections exist, the Contractor shall verify with the Utility Company that all such utility connections have been disconnected. However, this shall not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility of complying with all code regulations or general practices as required by the City or Utility Company or District having jurisdiction over such utility. The contractor shall prevent any foreign material from entering sewer laterals to be abandoned and shall employ suitable devices to prevent any material entering the sewer. It is the responsibility of the contractor to have full knowledge of the existing sites before commencing demolition. The contractor shall raze all structures and completely clear the sites of debris as described in the specifications. Contractor shall grade the entire site.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:The City of Los Alamitos (hereinafter referred to as City) invites written proposals for Citywide Traffic Signal Maintenance services. The contract will include but not limited to the following: Proficient in programming of conflict monitors (CMU) and malfunction management units (MMU) Proficient with all types of detection systems; video, loops and wireless. Familiarity with programming and repair of all traffic signal controllers. Basic preventive maintenance service on an ongoing basis Routine maintenance designed to eliminate or reduce down time Monthly maintenance of vehicle signals and flashing beacons Routine maintenance of all pedestrian signals Providing warranty service for any and all equipment used Responding to Emergency Service request within two hours Verification to City staff that emergency work has been completed Payment of liquidated damages for failure to respond in a timely manner Providing signal upgrades and/or installations as extra work Maintaining accurate and detailed inventory records Developing and maintaining monthly activity reports and records Compensation based on maintenance and repair of signals, flashing beacons, and safety lighting .

SCOPE OF WORK The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, Contract and Proposal Documents. The general items of work include potholing and asphalt repairs. The work will be assigned throughout the fiscal year by the Agency’s representative. The Agency will identify, approximately six (6) times per fiscal year, a list of miscellaneous AC repair locations (“target areas” or “isolated”), per contract year. This contract is for annual on-call miscellaneous AC repairs, not to exceed $200,000 within a fiscal year. Should Parties be in agreement, the contract has an option to extend the on-call services contract, administratively in future years allowing only an annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) adjustment with a maximum of four (4) percent. The Agency may extend the contract four times; maximum of five (5) fiscal years.

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: In general, the work is comprised of public works construction including removal of current non-structural beams, installation of canopy cover with all hardware over the walkway, canopy cover with all hardware over seven(7) police vehicle parking stalls. Installation of bollards in front of each pole to reduce damage to the canopy frame. City-approved color scheme for canopy cover and frame as well as fire rated fabric to meet California State Fire Marshall requirements.
