Cathodic Protection Upgrades – Transmission Pipelines

SCOPE OF SERVICES The selected engineering firm’s primary responsibilities shall be to investigate the current condition of the listed transmission pipelines and any existing cathodic protections, evaluate pipeline corrosion and remaining pipeline life, and to design Cathodic Protection Systems for each pipeline that exceed NACE International criteria for cathodic protection and standard industry practices. Work may include project management, performing surface and underground pipeline surveys, pipeline location, investigative excavation, performing land and soil surveys, obtaining permits, traffic control, testing, project design, developing contract documents, preparing plans and specifications, preparing bid documents, bid phase assistance and other services. The Proposer is encouraged to expand the definition of the scope of services in the proposal as may be deemed appropriate for adequate investigation of the Project.
