DESCRIPTION OF WORK Work under this contract consists of adding bike lanes with buffer lanes along Santa Rosa and adding a sidewalk connecting to Santa Rosa Technology Magnet School. Work includes Tree Trimming, Relocation of Existing Guardrail, Crushed Miscellaneous Base, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) Curb and Gutter, PCC Curb Ramps, PCC Sidewalk, Mill & Fill, Base Repair, Asphalt Concrete (AC) Widening (7” thick), Surface Preparation & Crack Treatment, Type II Emulsion-Aggregate Slurry, Rumble Strips, Traffic Signal & Bike Loop Installation, Pavement Delineation, Striping, & Signing and appurtenant work. Two-lane traffic shall be maintained throughout the project. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Plans, the Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions.
