Brief Description of the Project. The District is seeking assistance designing a study and long-term monitoring plan to assess the ecological and biological impacts of amending soils with biochar in a California coastal grassland system. Areas of interest include soil chemistry; organic and Figure 1. Approximate project site (in yellow) at Rancho San Antonio OSP. Light green is land owned by Santa Clara County Parks. Dark green in land owned by Midpen. The project site is managed by Midpen under the management agreement between Midpen and the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department.
