Removal and replacement of damaged sections of guardrail, guardrail end-treatments, and crash cushions

The Work consists of the issuance of Work Orders for the removal and replacement of metal beam guard railing; construction of terminal end anchor systems; and the performance of other appurtenant work at various locations within the unincorporated areas of North Los Angeles County as shown on the map included as Enclosure A herein at the end of this Section G. The Contractor will be assigned work throughout the duration of the Contract through the issuance of a Work Order for work to be performed at a specific location. The duration of the Contract shall be one year or until $1,000,000 of expenditure occurs, whichever comes. In no event shall the Contract Price of $1,000,000 be exceeded. The minimum cumulative amount of Work Orders to be assigned to the Contractor will be $50,000. The Agency reserves the right to not issue additional Work Orders once this threshold has been reached.
