DESCRIPTION: The City of Orinda is situated in the Oakland/Berkeley hills immediately east of the Caldecott Tunnel on Highway 24 in Contra Costa County. The City’s Public Works and Engineering Services Department maintains approximately 93 miles of public right-of-way as well as five two-lane bridges in a semi-rural community with 31 miles of creeks. The City of Orinda plans to select up to five firms to provide on-call Construction Management services through June 30, 2026, with the ability for the City Manager to extend the contract for one additional year. The time and materials contract limit is $150,000 with the ability to amend the limit on an as needed basis. The City’s usage of the consultants’ services will be on as-needed basis so if the demand is not there, then the services will not be requested.
