Engineering and Geotechnical Design for Alpine Pond Dam Reconfiguration

Scope of Work As stated above, the Project design elements are to: reconfigure unengineered earthen dam to reinforced engineered structure, relocate spillway to natural channel, explore feasibility of secondary pond, and design a road/stream crossing to support pond outflow across roads below the primary dam. Design shall incorporate elements that will increase and maximize ponding duration time to enhance habitat for special status species, wherever feasible. Design shall also provide finished slopes to support future ADA/ABA trail construction (under separate project) and provide for patrol and emergency access vehicle passage below primary dam.
