The slope repair improvements described herein generally provide for but are not limited to:
Restoration of slope erosion within the limits of the project by filling in with compacted fill soils; installation of pipe and batter board retaining system in these slope repair areas, all as detailed in the plans and specifications. Upon completion of slope restoration, jute matting will be installed over areas of slope repair and areas disturbed by construction work or extended limits as directed by the City. Bonded fiber matrix and seed mix shall be applied to the face of the slope, per these Special Provisions and as directed by the City. Where there are trees to be removed, the areas of removal shall be filled in as necessary. Excavated soil shall be used as backfill materials and unsuitable soil shall be hauled off-site, upon recommendation of the Geotechnical Engineer.
