Large Water Meter Testing, Repair, and Calibration Services

SCOPE OF WORK This RFP is for the purpose of selecting a qualified firm to provide large meter testing, repair, and calibration services for the City of Arcadia. The chosen firm will need to ensure continued meter accuracy by testing, repairing, and calibrating water meters in accordance with the latest AWWA new meter accuracy standards. All turbine and octave type meters will be tested at three different flow rates in accordance with AWWA Accuracy Standards. All Compound type meters that have low and high side element will be tested at six different flow rates (three flows on the low side and three flows on the high side) in accordance with AWWA Accuracy Standards. All meters are to be tested as scheduled by the City of Arcadia PWSD and calibrated as required. Replacement parts are to be kept in stock so repairs can be made immediately (if needed).
