SCOPE OF WORK The construction work to be performed under the Project includes the following principal elements: Construct Lake Wohlford Dam Foundation excavation including controlled blasting and preparation of dam foundation. Installation of excavation support on the downstream side of existing dam foundation. Demolition of tunnel and conduit as required for excavation activities. Excavation and disposal of approximately 114,000 cubic yards of material. Final preparation of rock foundation to accept RCC, including placing dental concrete as directed by the Owner’s Representative. Foundation grouting of new dam. Mobilization and erection of RCC batch plant(s) and RCC delivery system from the batch plant to the dam. Utilization of pre-approved aggregate and material suppliers for RCC mix.
