PROJECT DESCRIPTION In 2020, the City was awarded $8.5 million from the California Department of Parks & Recreation through the Prop 68 Parks & Water Bond Act of 2018 which aims to create new parks and recreation opportunities in underserved communities across California. In addition, the City has allocated Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (CSLFRF), TransNet funds, and Clean California Cycle 2 Grant funds towards completion of the Project. The total construction contract for the Project is estimated to be approximately $11 million
