University Village Apartments (UVA) Access Control System

SCOPE OF WORK:UVA currently uses the Onity card system and associated lock hardware on property gates as well as building and apartment entry doors. This system was installed in 2003 and is no longer suitable for the housing community. As a result, CSUSM Corporation has chosen to replace the existing access control system and lock hardware and has selected the Assa Abloy IN120 Sargent system running on Persona Online software across all four of our student housing areas. A private contract will likely follow for our public/private affiliated housing complexes. This system will be installed on the CSUSM server which is maintained and backed up by the CSUSM Instructional and Information Technology Services (IITS) department. The system will be deployed on CSUSM’s LAN and Wi-Fi. Wireless locks connected to CSUSM’s network will utilize the Assa Abloy Wireless Gateways. The Assa Abloy IN120 System will replace an estimated 138 electronic locks currently installed at UVA.
