DESCRIPTION The Sheriff’s Office’s Custody Services Division has 22 full time Correctional Officers, 1 sworn Sergeant, 1 sworn Lieutenant, and 4 civilian staff members. The Custody Services Division primary function is the care and custody of sentenced and non-sentenced inmates incarcerated in the Inyo County Correctional Facility (ICCF). Located in the County seat of Independence, CA and has a board rated capacity of 102 beds. Male and female inmates are housed in segregated units. The capacity rating is set by the Board of State Community Corrections (BSCC) which biennially inspects the facility for compliance to standards.
