Scope of Work The City is seeking a Contractor to conduct annual tests of up to 140 backflow prevention assemblies in Lake Forest, CA. Assemblies range in size from ¾” to 6”. The City shall protect the public water supply from contamination by implementation of a cross-connection program. Such protection is enforced through the California Code of Regulations Title 17 Section 7584, which requires the City to comply with all applicable state and federal laws required by the Safe Drinking Water Act of 1974, as they are now constituted, or as they my hereafter be amended or recodify and implemented through the City’s “Cross Connection Control Program”. The Contractor must have a current calibrated testing gauge.
