The goal of the Traffic Signal System Assessment & Master Plan is to provide a blueprint for the city to upgrade the traffic signal system to modern standards to better serve all modes of traffic including motor vehicles, pedestrians, bicycles, transit and emergency response vehicles to provide safe and efficient movements within the city limits, and to improve the quality of life for the residents, businesses, and visitors alike in the city.
