/Scope of Work The City of Redding seeks proposals from qualified professionals for a Distribution Transformer Recycling and Refurbishment Program. This includes but is not limited to the repair and remanufacture of distribution transformers, transformer recycling services, PCB testing and minor modifications. Transformers supplied are made up of units removed from service consisting of pole and padmount design, 12KV primary voltage, single and three-phase, sized from 10 to 2,000KVA. The City averages approximately 150 spent transformers annually as candidates for either refurbishment, repair or recycling.
