The County of Calaveras will receive sealed bids for Construction of the Roadway Safety Signage Audit (RSSA) Project, County Project No. 5930-095.
It has been shown that roadside safety sign locations, sheeting, size, etc. have a dramatic effect on overall roadway safety, represented in collision history. A data driven safety evaluation of spot locations throughout Calaveras County was conducted and concluded that the County would benefit from updated roadway safety signs to help warn drivers of upcoming intersections, curves, lane reductions, etc., to reduce traffic collisions.
