Building and Safety Services RFP

Scope of Services Option 1. Full Service Contract: Building Division administration, plan check services, permit issuance and fee collection, building inspection services, enforcement of building codes, public counter services, and certified staffing (i.e., Certified Building Official, Certified Plan Checker, Certified Combination Building Inspector, Permit Technician). In addition, a Building Official shall oversee the daily operations of the Building Division including performance standards/key performance indicators, submitting monthly and quarterly reports, investigation and research, and update city ordinances and codes as necessary. Building Official is expected to respond to emergency calls from the City, i.e., City and Community Development management, Police, Fire, etc., at any time as deemed necessary. Further, as special circumstances dictate, after hours or weekend inspections must be conducted by certified consultant Building staff.
