Project Description The purpose of the Bear Creek Redwoods Phase II Trails Plant Installation & Maintenance Project (Project) is to provide plant installation and maintenance for the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (District) at three sites in Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve (Supplemental Conditions, Att. A: Location Map). The scope of work will include the following tasks: installation of nursery plants, direct-seeded tree basins, and willow stakes; installation, maintenance, and removal of tree shelters and browse protection devices certified weed-free straw installation; watering; weeding and invasive species control; replacement planting; monitoring; and reporting; all as more particularly described in the Contract Documents.
