Backflow Testing, Certification, and Emergency Repairs

SCOPE OF WORK Bids are requested for backflow prevention, testing, and repair services for backflow units Citywide. Pricing shall include the costs to conduct annual testing and certification; prepare written diagnosis with recommendations for corrective measures as necessary; and to make emergency repairs as requested. Monthly communication is required with the Project Manager for units tested and/or repairs needed. Approximately 350 tests and certifications will be conducted per year. The Contractor will arrange pickup and return of the backflow Test Reports with the Project Manager. The Scope of Work includes 350 backflow prevention assemblies managed by the City of Livermore. Assemblies range in size from 3/4” to 4”. This includes devices from Ames, Febco, Rainbird, and Watts. The majority of devices are Febco (90%)
