SCOPE OF SERVICES Bidders are responsible for: Inspecting the sites for possible hazards prior to the award of the project and Ascertaining and adhering to each fire district’s deadline dates Please call County Real Property Services (805) 781-4779 with questions about the above or if you need assistance. Specifications for all county properties: Roadways, neighboring properties, and sidewalks adjacent to all county properties that are weed abated shall be left clear of all weed trimmings and debris. Required equipment: spark arrestor and fire extinguisher Clear all weeds to no more than 4” high. Clearances 50’ at perimeter, roadway & around oaks, 100’ around structures, 10’ each side of driveways. DEADLINE for Weed Abatement: Date required by city fire department or local fire enforcement OR June 3, 2024, whichever is sooner.
