Washwater 2 Tank Rehabilitation

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project scope includes rehabilitation of the Washwater #2 reservoir located at the Lester J. Berglund Water Treatment Plant. The interior and exterior of the tank is to be recoated. Structural repairs to the roof, vents, hatches, fall protection upgrades, overflow retrofits, and other items to be considered as deductive alternates are included budget permitting. No bid will be received unless it is made on a bid form which is included as part of the Special Provisions for the project. Each bid shall be accompanied by cash or a cashier’s check or a certified check, or a satisfactory bid bond issued by a California admitted surety insurer in the form as included in the bid documents, in any event in an amount not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. Construction surveying and staking will be provided by the Contractor. The Contractor must obtain a Right-of-Way Permit from the City, at no cost, before construction begins.
