DESCRIPTION OF WORK The work to be done consists, in general, of reducing number of travel lanes by constructing bicycle and pedestrian improvements, including concrete islands, bulb-outs and curb ramps; removal of damaged sidewalk, roadway and miscellaneous concrete; re-aligning curb line, gutter, sidewalk and driveways; drainage improvements consisting of new storm drains inlets and lateral pipes; utility adjustments; removal of old striping and markings, restriping; installing pavement markings and markers, signal light modifications, and updated pedestrian crossings, as well as any other items and details not mentioned above, but required by the Project Plans, Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions, and the directions of the Engineer.
