SCOPE OF WORK A. BACKGROUND INFORMATION The San Bernardino County Fire Protection District (sometimes referred to in this RFQ as SBCFPD or County) is a community-based, all hazard emergency services provider. The County is dedicated to the protection of the diverse community we serve, organizational sustainability, performance excellence, and safety. The County accomplishes this through a balance of regionalized services delivery and accountability to our local communities. The County is seeking Proposals from interested and qualified Proposers to provide On-Call Apparatus Bay Door repair and maintenance services (Services). The County plans to utilize contractors to provide on-call Services to various locations within the County. It is anticipated that each contract awarded under this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) shall have an initial not-to-exceed amount of $200,000 per annual period over the three (3) year term of any awarded contract. Any project specific Services awarded under the on-call agreement will be for maintenance or public projects that do not exceed $60,000. Please note, however, as provided later herein, that an award of a contract does not guarantee any work or compensation under such contract and the contract is subject to early termination
