The successful respondent shall perform Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections for the Burbank Housing Authority Section 8 Program at an estimated 420 hours annually. Inspect residential properties for decent, safe, and sanitary conditions as defined in federal regulations and the Burbank Housing Authority Administrative Plan. Prepare and process corrective action letters to owners of rental properties. Communicate Section 8 HQS guidelines and requirements, and explain repairs required to landlords and tenants. Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence related to HQS inspections, as needed. Utilize personal vehicle for traveling to and from (HQS) inspections (approximately 8-10 inspections per week).
