Fire and Life Safety Systems Inspections and Testing

Scope of Services Fire Alarm Systems and Detection Devices: Annual Inspections and Testing (NFPA 72) a. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor and materials to inspect, test, and document the fire alarm systems and devices in compliance with the National Fire Alarm Code, NFPA 72, Chapter 14. In addition, Title 19 - Pubic Safety of the California Code of Regulations. The contractor shall provide proof of training and certification of persons performing testing of fire alarm and detection devices. The contractor shall provide necessary traffic control measures and coordination. For example; the contractor shall coordinate with Cal Poly and University PD any road closure and provide signage, cones, traffic ramps (to protect hoses or pedestrian traffic), and barricades in order to accomplish this work. Systems shall be inspected and tested in accordance with the frequencies required and the Contractor shall use forms specified in NFPA 72.
