Engineering Design of Park & Dahl Tank

SCOPE OF SERVICES The City of Palo Alto owns and maintains two welded steel, potable water storage tanks called “Park Reservoir” and “Dahl Reservoir”, located in the Palo Alto foothills area Page Mill Road. The Tanks are 59 years old and require seismic retrofits, roof replacement, new coating, modifications to vents, and other assorted improvements and repairs. The Water, Gas, and Wastewater Engineering Group (WGW) of the Utility Department of the City of Palo Alto prepared this Scope of Work (“SOW”) for a qualified engineering consulting firm (“Consultant”) to perform an all-comprehensive engineering and structural inspection and condition assessment of Dahl Tank and to prepare engineering alternatives, plans, and specifications for both Dahl and Park Reservoirs
