The Scope of Work will include the development of procedures for preventative measures to support the City’s IPM Policy. This includes procedures to achieve the following: Monitor pest population, including unwanted vegetation, sufficient to inform the following: pesticide use only when pesticides are needed, and abatement of conditions conducive to pest populations and unwanted vegetation. Limit or replace pesticide use (manual weed and insect removal). Limit or eliminate the use of fertilizers.
