SCOPE OF SERVICES The City of Escalon is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with inspection services currently scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in the mornings. The City is looking to fill all Building Safety services, including “present for duty” Building Official Services, Plan Check, Fire Prevention and Building Inspection Services. While Tuesdays and Thursdays are the established days for building inspections, the City would like to maintain the ability for a resident/contractor to schedule an inspection on a specific date/time outside of the current twice a week schedule for an increased fee.
