SCOPE OF WORK IEUA will shut down one digester system at a time and make it available for the Contractor to clean the digester and its associated components as described in this document. Each digester shall be cleaned in no more than thirty (30) calendar days from the time of issuing the Notice to Proceed. Part of the scope of work for digester cleaning shall be the installation of necessary scaffolding inside the digester by the Contractor to facilitate the cleaning process. IEUA will, without cost to the Contractor, provide inspectors during normal hours of work on an as-needed basis. If the Contractor elects to perform work outside Normal Hours, inspections will be provided by IEUA at the expense of the Contractor. The Contractor shall submit a request to do so a minimum of 48 hours in advance for approval. IEUA shall approve or disapprove any such request. All costs for overtime inspection shall be paid by the Contractor.
