2520 – Saw Cutting Services

SCOPE OF WORK This bid is to provide Saw Cutting Services as needed by a contractor or firm that will provide saw cutting / grinding services to CCWD within the CCWD’s service area in Central Contra Costa County including Bay Point, Concord, Clayton, Clyde, Martinez, Pacheco, Pleasant Hill, Port Costa, Walnut Creek. Hourly rates will include travel time to and from the work location both during and outside of normal business hours. Saw cutting /grinding services may include: Cutting and drilling a minimum of 12 inches of concrete, asphalt, or stone. All cutting must be straight and level. All holes shall be drilled by use of a core drill. Cutting and/or drilling may include vertical, horizontal, or inverted areas as well as indoor or outdoor areas. Grinding in roadways / walkways up to 2” in depth. The Contractor shall request an Underground Service Alert (USA) on all sites that meet USA requirements and follow all regulated rules and conditions.
