Stacy and Witbeck, Inc. are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers: SWPPP Plan & Submit, Survey, QC LAB, Water Truck, Trucking, Street Sweeping, Concrete Pump, Crane Rental, Concrete Flatwork, Dewatering, Electrical Communication, Fence & Guardrail, HMA Paving, Jack & Bore, Landscape & Irrigation, Pile Driving, Reinforcing Steel, Signs, Striping, Shoring, Pump Station Equipment, Pipe & Valve, Drainage Materials, Ready Mix Concrete, Aggregates. The Invitation to Bid and all contract documents issued by the owner (including plans/specs), are located in the Files tab in Building Connected, or you can also access the documents at our public Box site: https://stacywitbeck.box.com/v/Caltrans327304 Referenced project has a 23% DBE participation goal. 590 Working Days The estimated cost of the project is $14,700,000. Subcontractor/Supplier Quotes and Required Forms are due by Monday, March 21, 2022, by 2PM. All quotes are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Stacy and Witbeck, Inc. (SWI) applicable Standard Subcontract Agreement or Standard Material Purchase Agreement available through the following link: https://stacywitbeck.box.com/v/Caltrans327304. Quotations must be valid for one hundred twenty (120) days after the specified contract award date by the owner. Stacy and Witbeck, Inc. is signatory to the Operating Engineers, Laborers, Carpenters, and Cement Masons Unions. Non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign a job agreement for trades covered by Stacy and Witbeck, Inc.’s union agreements. All Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) Program firms must complete the Forms below. DBE Confirmation Equal Employment Certification DBE Certification (provide a copy with your quote) All subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance, and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Stacy and Witbeck’s requirements. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the estimator. In addition, subcontractors are required to register with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), as required by Public Contract Code Section 1725.5, please furnish DIR number with your quote submittal. Include applicable DBE certifications issued and validated by pertinent agencies. SWI is an Affirmative Action/EEO company and is willing to assist qualified certified DBE and other small business certified firms to achieve our subcontractor/supplier goals. Subcontractors will be required to provide a 100% performance and a 100% payment bond for the full amount of the subcontract price. Items of work may be broken down into an economically feasible package to encourage participation. Please also provide bond rates with your submitted bids. In some cases, we may be able to provide assistance obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, supplies, materials, as well as any related assistance in services to subcontractors who may otherwise be at a disadvantage.
