Scope of Services The project to be constructed consists of the demolition of the former fire station/community center and vacant office building and the expansion and renovation of Dizdar Park. The project scope includes the relocation of the Adolfo Camarillo statue, a new plaza, garden entry, trellises, a bandshell, accessible walkways, shade trees, lawn, irrigation and landscaping, seating areas, public restroom, parking lot, trash enclosure, fire station themed playground, lighting and electrical, signage, and related work.

In accordance with the State of California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting (CUPCCA) Commission, the Downey Unified School District (District) is inviting all interested licensed contractors to submit their company information for inclusion on the District’s List of Qualified Bidding Contractors (List) for construction-related projects up to $200,000 (Informal Bid) during the 2024 calendar year.

SCOPE OF WORK The Work consists of any and all labor, materials, goods, supplies, equipment, tools, utilities, temporary facilities, transportation, delivery services, and other services and things of any nature whatsoever as are expressly and impliedly necessary to timely and satisfactorily complete the Project: (i) in strict accordance with the Contract Documents; and (ii) not later than the Required Completion Date specified in the Master Schedule. The Work generally consists of the following: installation of district-provided playground equipment, procurement and installation of Artificial Turf, Smart Pad, Weed Endure Premium, and Poured-in-Place surfacing for a total of (6) primary playgrounds.

Scope of Service: 1. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, and special equipment needed to perform removal of copper jackets/lead, plastic and cardboard debris materials from bullet trap material (ballistic rubber material) and return bullet trap area to factory specifications. Special equipment includes but is not limited to all ventilation equipment needed for any and all portions of this work. Contractor shall obtain written approval by the County Project Manager when services are concluded.

Scope of Services Project 509-511: Demolition of the Flint Center, Utilities, & Associated Work: The demolition of the Flint Center, utility work to disconnection and rerouting utilities as indicated in contract documents, grading of site, installation of landscaping and landscape elements, upgrades to A8 and surrounding impacted areas.

Scope of Work A detailed Scope of Work is provided under the Scope of Work section. The Respondent will be expected to fulfill, at a minimum, the services and technical requirements described in the Scope of Work. Upon final selection, the Scope of Work may be modified and refined during negotiations with the City.

Scope of Work The Services under this RFP are of interest to VTA and stakeholders, including Caltrans, Santa Clara County Roads and Airports (“County”), the City of San Jose, and the City of Milpitas, to improve traffic operations at the I-880/Montague Expressway interchange and McCarthy/O’Toole interchange in Santa Clara County. Description of Work For purposes of this Contract, Work consists of design and construction of voluntary notifier NFS2-640 aerosol fire suppression systems to protect the communication and electrical rooms at the Milpitas and Berryessa Station campuses. Scope of work also includes integrating the new fire suppression systems into the main fire alarm control panels and obtaining Fire Marshall approval of the project upgrades.
