The Truckee Donner Public Utility District (District) Water Department plans to construct the District Pipeline Replacement-2023-Contract B project, which involves the installation of about 4,900 feet of water main, about 1,600 feet of water service lateral along with associated items such as meter boxes, fire hydrants, valves, fittings, meter vaults and one pressure reducing stations on Skislope Way in the Tahoe Donner area of Truckee. The total surface disturbance for this project is estimated at 20,200 square feet. It is the District’s intent to prevent the discharge of pollutants from these projects by Implementing Best Management Practices (BMPs) that will prevent all construction pollutants from contacting stormwater and moving off-site into receiving waters, Eliminating or reducing non-stormwater discharges to storm water systems and waters of the nation, and Ensuring timely inspections of all BMPs.
