The Project scope of this project includes, but is not limited to pathway resurfacing in four Parks: Earl Warren Park in Castro Valley, Hillcrest Knolls in San Leandro and Birchfield and Fairway Greens Park in Hayward, California. Over time, park pathways have deteriorated. Pathways in each park will be repaired, refurbished, and/or reconstructed according to the specified requirements specific to each Park. Reconstruction treatments may include grinding and paving, full asphalt or concrete pavement (re)construction, or pavement removal and restoration with alternate surfaces such as aggregate base, or decomposed granite. Project includes restoration of lawn or landscaped surfaces and irrigation affected by construction.

Project Description: Brief Scope of Work and History The scope of this project is to replace the current irrigation well located at Mission Hills Golf Course, 175 Industrial Parkway, Hayward, CA 94544. From 1998 until 2021, pumped groundwater from the well was diverted to an onsite storage pond and used for irrigation. In 2021 the current well failed and is now beyond its serviceable life. Currently water is supplied to the storage pond from a nearby metered fire hydrant and there is no connection to city water for irrigation. This project will replace the existing well with a new well that is similar in functionality to the original well. The current irrigation system will need to remain operational throughout the project. Final well equipping and connections to the existing delivery system are also included in this project scope.

Contractor specifically understands, acknowledges, and agrees that the District shall have the right to request any alterations, deviations, reductions, or additions to the Project or Work, and the cost thereof shall be added to or deducted from the amount of the Contract Price by fair and reasonable valuations.
