SCOPE OF SERVICES The purpose of this contract is to provide vegetation management, debris management, water quality sampling and NPDES permit compliance services for the South Shore Lagoons. The qualified firm must be experienced in the management of nuisance aquatic plant growth using an array of control methods to maintain the lagoon’s aesthetic and recreational amenities. The firm’s management approach must be consistent with applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. The Contractor is expected to examine carefully the lagoon sites before preparing a proposal.

SCOPE OF SERVICES The City is responsible for operation and maintenance of 67 single family homes in the Alameda Point Main Street Neighborhood. The Base Reuse and Economic Development Department is looking for contractors to assist with as-needed, scheduled and emergency repair work to residential roofing, including wood sheathing, fascia trim, flashing, gutters, downspouts and abatement, if needed. The objective of this RFP is to maintain the roofing systems while not changing the basic appearances of the homes. All work is to be replaced or supplemented in kind. All materials repairs and replacements shall be at least equal to existing improvements and shall match them in finish and dimension. If awarded, the contract will be for three years with options to extend for one year, up to two times. The contract amount for the first three years will not exceed $600,000 total, and will increase by up to $100,000 per one-year contract extension. Multiple contracts may be awarded and there is no guarantee for work. The selected Contractors shall furnish all tools, equipment, transportation, labor, and materials to perform all work authorized under this agreement. All work performed and equipment and parts supplied by the Contractor shall be subject to the inspection and approval of the Project Manager or designee. Failure to pass inspection on any maintenance, repair, or service item shall result in non payment for that item until such time that the Contractor can present the item to the City in an acceptable form. All work must be performed in accordance with the Project Specifications contained in Appendix A.

SCOPE OF SERVICES The selected proposer will undertake a comprehensive review of the City’s Solid Waste Agreement (Appendix C) and provide expertise and professional advice on related matters. For the annual rate adjustment, proposer will analyze the financial statements and operational data of the franchisee to confirm adherence to the terms of the franchise agreement. This includes two types of rate applications: an Index Based Rate Adjustment, and a Cost Based Rate Adjustment. This process will include at minimum: review of compensation adjustment terms, rate revenue and expense review, commodity revenue review, balancing account update and verifying the accuracy of rate adjustment calculations to ensure they align with the agreed upon formulas and contract terms. Following the analysis, the contractor will prepare a detailed report that includes findings and recommendations for rate adjustments, and present results to the City’s Executive Management or City Council as needed.

SCOPE OF SERVICES The City of Alameda (“City”) is requesting proposals from qualified organizations for Tree Maintenance in the Harbor Bay Zone (Zone) of the City’s Landscape and Lighting District 84-2. The Zone consists of the public landscape areas in the Harbor Bay Business Park, as well as the ferry terminal parking lot. Attached as Appendix A is the Scope of Work, which includes a map showing the areas of responsibility for tree maintenance within the Harbor Bay Zone of the Landscape and Lighting District, itemized tree maintenance requirements within these areas, and the City’s Landscape Maintenance Specification standards. The City’s contracted landscaper will typically maintain trees up to 12 feet, however the City may request Proposers to provide additional service for these items.
